The diet works on a chemical breakdown and is proven. Do not vary or substitute any of the above foods. Salt and pepper to be used and no other seasoning. Where no quantity is given, there is no restriction other than common sense.
The diet is to be used for 3 days at a time. In three days you should lose 10lbs, after 3 days of dieting you can eat normally but remember not to over do it. You should lose 40lbs in a month if you stick to it.
Just thought I'd share this - I got this detox diet off ebay about a year ago and was very scepitical but the food it states isn't too bad so I tried it. I've tried it three times and although I won't claim to have lost the full 10lbs they said I did loose 8lb the first time (and it stayed off) 4lb the second time (only followed it for 2 of the 3 days) and Im on my 3rd day this time and on weighing this morning have lost 5lb so far. If anyone tries it let me know the results.

Dinner: Dinner: Dinner: 2 slices of any cold meat 2 slices of any cold meat 4 oz tuna 40z string beans 40z broccoli 4oz beetroot 4oz beetroot 2 oz carrots 4oz cauliflower 1 sml apple Half banana Half sml honeydew melon 4oz vanilla ice cream 4oz vanilla ice cream 4oz vanilla ice cream.
1 Toast is to be dry, no butter or margarine. 2 Tuna, string beans and beetroot can be frozen. 3 Saltine crackers are Tuc or Ritz.
