Put rice on to cook. When almost ready, heat oil in wok or heavy frying pan. Add ginger and garlic. Toss for 10 seconds. Add bean curd squares and fry for one minute. Remove and set aside. Add all the vegetables and nuts. Stir-fry for two minutes. Add sherry and soy sauce. Return bean curd to wok. Stir for a few seconds. Serve with brown rice.

Lunches are based on nutritious, healing soups. Use recipes below, which last two people for two days, or buy fresh versions. Serve with wholemeal bread and follow with bio yogurt, fruit and a teaspoon of sunflower or sesame seeds.
Rub the juices, spices and pepper into the chicken breasts. Leave to marinate in the fridge. Boil the potatoes, drain and mash with pepper and milk. Grill for 3 minutes either side then finish in the oven at gas 7 (220C) for 7 minutes. Steam mange tout. Serve chicken with sweet potato mash and mange tout.
Have either a bowl of porridge (no added salt), some shredded wheat or muesli. Add to this a chopped banana or grated apple and serve with skimmed milk. Have green tea or a herbal tea.
Four-day detox menu plan.
Boil the vegetables in 700ml of water for 20 minutes. Blend with the water and remaining ingredients. Reheat and serve.
Run sardines under water. Brush with oil, sprinkle over lemon juice and black pepper. Grill for 4 minutes each side garnish with parsley. Slice tomatoes and make a salad with the basil leaves. Drizzle over balsamic vinegar. Serve with sardines and bread.
